So it would appear I need to make these games a bit harder in the future. I have like 6 screenshots ready to go on my desktop that I won’t be needed because Jeff Sites guessed Lake Como in Italy on the last post. And he’s right!
We’ve been commissioned to shoot a wedding on Lake Como in October and I can hardly wait. We are obviously going to stay for an extended amount of time beyond the wedding and we have quite an exciting itinerary lined up. I just hope these next few months fly by!
We’re flying into Milan and staying there just for the afternoon to visit and explore the city. Then we’re off to Cinque Terre for 3 nights. Cinque Terre looks like it’s probably one of the most beautiful places on Earth! After that we will catch a train to Lake Como for 3 nights to shoot the wedding and enjoy the beautiful town of Verenna. After Lake Como we catching another train to Venice to do a post wedding shoot of the couple and spend a couple days there as well. Next we’ll head over to Florence and Tuscany before finally ending up in Rome to depart back to the U.S. via Spain. However, we’ll only be in Spain for 3 hours which won’t be enough to get out and explore. I can’t wait!
If any of you have been to Italy or Europe before, please feel free to leave some travel tips in the comments below. This will be my first trip to Europe so I can use all the tips I can get. Ciao!
Today’s Image – Stockyards Hotel Entrance
I’m pretty sure I’ve photographed and seen just about all there is to photograph and see in the Stockyards :-). I been out there probably 10+ times in the last 6 months just on photowalks with various people so I think I’ll be looking for a new place in the near future to explore locally!
I set up for this shot at our recent photowalk organized through out local Dallas Photography Group. I have taken a few shots of this hotel before, but never straight on, so it seemed appropriate to get at least one from this angle. Enjoy!
